Description – This dupatta is beautifully embroidered using Pakko and soof embroidery style. Pakko style of embroidery is practised by the Sodha and Jadeja communities of the Kutch region of Gujarat. The embroidery is bold, colourful and solid. The cloth may give way after years of use but the embroidery won’t fray and hence it is called Pakko. Soof embroidery is practiced by the women of the Meghwad Maaru community in the kutch region of Gujarat. It is a delicate and fine embroidery. The design is mentally conceptualised by counting of threads of fabric, therefore the craftswoman is a designer as well as the artisan. Use this exquisite dupatta to style your garments.
